Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF) was established with a vision to promote scientific and medical research to address the health, scientific, socio-economic and industrial needs of India. Further, AHERF is currently building capabilities in basic, translational and clinical research to realize cutting edge healthcare technologies/therapies within the Apollo group of hospitals. The AHERF team is 100 strong currently and is guided by an esteemed group of scientists which comprise its scientific advisory council. Further, AHERF is currently operational out of 8 sites across India and is in the midst of working on a very exciting research project portfolio.To fructify our ambitions for health care in India, we seek people who can be at the forefront of knowledge creation and sharing experiences through a strong commitment to academic research. We also place a lot of value on insights and experience developed through years of dedicated community service. All in all, demonstrable interest in the various areas of health through academic inquiry and an unrivalled understanding of what it takes to act on the ground are crucial elements that we look for. We strongly believe that the key to success in AHERF's endeavours lies in our ability to create a team with a balance of these two perspectives. We respect an individual’s past achievements and give weightage to his/her scientific achievements and associations in the past. We believe AHERF’s research capabilities are as good as its team.
